Human activity and technology cand advance after the caused destructions can be healed by nature’s renewing capacity.
I worked as a design engineer for nearly three decades. First it was my hobby, later it became my conviction that gentle technologies and environmental awareness are the only path we have to follow in our lives.
My mother painting, screening, engraving and mixing colours was a defining experience of my childhood. I was surrounded by paints, brushes, tiny tools, tranquillity, creativity and works of art born in silence.
The word mosaic comes from the Latin opus massivum (close to muses) word, derived from the Greek muszeion. When we were building one of my clients house first I noticed the meticulosity and precision how the Italian mosaics were incorporated into the bathrooms. I was fascinated by the inherent creativity in this work, so I started to study the history and the materials of mosaic art. The ancient origin, simpicity and durability of this technique impressed me. After a few experiments I came to the conclusion that by combining different materials I can create special-looking, sophisticated and long-lasting pieces of work. Playful combinations of durable materials, like stone, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, mother of pearl and different recycled elements ensure the durability and colour richness of my products. My belief is that works created from natural elements bring pleasure both to the owner and the creator. I intend to create products that harmoniously integrate into everyday lifes of my customers and to create a moderate and unique atmosphere with their appearance and to ensure both functionality and an aesthetic experience with their creation and use of materials.
People of ancient times have always created mosaic works, the muses have always been watching our steps.
